By accessing or using Applica, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Use of the Service
Applica provides a tool for extracting, analyzing, and reporting on uploaded documents. You agree to use Applica only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You must not:
- Upload files you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the platform
- Use Applica to generate misleading, harmful, or illegal content
3. Data Handling
Applica does not store your uploaded files or extracted data. All processing is transient:
- Files are parsed and converted to JSON
- JSON is sent to an AI model for analysis
- A report is generated and returned to you
All data is deleted after report delivery. You are responsible for the content of the files you upload.
4. Token System
Applica may use a token-based model to manage access and usage. Tokens are non-refundable and non-transferable. Misuse or abuse of tokens may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Intellectual Property
All content generated by Applica is yours to use, unless otherwise stated. Applica retains rights to its platform, design, and underlying technology. If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Applica the right to use them without obligation or compensation.
6. Third-Party Services
Applica may rely on third-party AI processors. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be temporarily transmitted to these providers for analysis. Applica is not responsible for their actions, but we choose partners committed to privacy and security.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Applica is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy or reliability of generated reports
- Continuous availability or error-free operation
- Suitability for any specific purpose
Use Applica at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Applica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Applica at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Baltimore, Maryland.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Applica after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
